This biblical art piece is a re-enactment of the fall of man, it features a 20-year-old Bonsai tree with two quail eggs to depict the Genesis couple - Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.

The name Eden is of Hebrew origin, meaning place of pleasure. Full of gems, it was the home of the first couple in creation and the couple enjoyed unparalleled closeness with God. The landlord allowed them access to all parts of the garden but forbade them from eating from one tree, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. They let their minds be impregnated with an inferior idea. The idea gave birth to disobedience. They took a bite of the forbidden fruit and came to the knowledge of good and evil. As a result, they were no longer suitable to be tenants of Eden, so the landlord evicted them and barred them from entry.

Their disobedience towards the landlord corrupted the human psyche and the effects can be felt today. This story conveys how much human potential is drained out of our lives by not being in the presence of our maker but all is not lost, Christ is known as the second Adam and is here to fix or renew our corrupted minds. Connecting with this image and the story brings spiritual healing to many.
